For your ease, we have made the Shipping Policy very ease for you to read and understand.

Q, Why isn't COD available to me?

Cash on Delivery (COD) option is not offered by our Courier partners at few serviceable locations. Also, COD option is not available on some of our products. Hence, based on your location and your choice of products, COD option may not be available to you. However, you can always opt for payment through Net Banking or Credit/Debit Card.

Q, Can we pay in any other currency besides US Dollars?

No matter from which part of the world (except India) you place an order at http://fashionparadise.in the amount debited from your account will be in your local currency (approximately) equivalent to the US Dollar price of the item ordered. Please note that all currency conversions are estimated and the price that you see will be close to the actual price, but not necessarily the exact price of an item. The final price of an item is the INR value converted from the US$ price displayed on the site and is dependent on the exchange rate prevailing between the US$ and the Indian Rupee. This INR value is what is charged to the client, and is credited to Fashion Paradise. Any difference between this amount and the amount on a client's credit card statement is attributed to bank charges/commission for currency conversion. Fashion  Paradise has no say or control in determining what these charges are and it is understood that the customer will bear these charges..

Q, What is the length and width of a saree?

Sarees standard length is 5.30 meters to 5.50 meters (550 centimetres) and width is approximately 1.11 meters (110 centimetres) excluding blouse fabric size 0.80 meter i.e. 1 meter extra.

Q, I do not live in India, how will you deliver me my chosen item?

We do deliver all of our goods across the world. We have partnered with International Logistics, FedEx – you place the order at our Site and our back end team gets to work to ready your chosen paid items. Once it’s ready for shipment, we handover the packed shipment to FedEx. FedEx will fly your parcel to wherever you are. They deliver to the remotest areas of the world so, we are very sure, your item will somehow find you.

Q, How long will it take for my chosen items to reach me?

Each product is marked with the indicative days it would be ready for shipment. Then the item will be ready from our end for dispatch, We handover the parcels to one of our trusted courier companies against a particular tracking number. Such tracking number will be sent to you, via SMS and email. You will then be able to track yourself your Shipment. Typically, it takes 8–10 days to deliver under their standard shipping norms. They deliver during working hours and during weekdays, so we would advise you to make someone available to receive the shipment during such hours/day at the Shipping Address mentioned in your Order. We are not responsible for any delay caused by any unforeseen time lags by the courier companies in delivering the parcels to the customer, or if the customer is not available at the time of delivery.  Fashion  Paradise will not be held responsible for any delay, damage in transit, or otherwise due to the courier company.

Q, How much do I have to pay for Shipping?

Your shipping cost is calculated on the weight and size of each package including the product, the packing material etc. The shipping cost also factors in the country of shipment.

Free Shipping in India for orders above Rs 600.

Fashion Paradise offers free shipping on selected item orders placed on our website, with minimum order size of Rs 600. For orders below Rs 500, there is nominal charge of Rs.50 applicable. for shipping and handling charges through online payment mode. This is to maintain the service level and provide your product on time. The shipping charge is non-refundable. All International Shipping will cost Approximately around Rs. 700 - 1000 for the first product, after which Rs. 400 is added per product depending on the weight, packaging, location & Country.

Free Shipping in India for Jewelry orders above Rs 1150. If purchased only Jewelry, online payment or cash on delivery it should be above Rs. 1150. 

Q, What if I don’t like the item when I receive it and want to exchange it – who will pay for the shipping?

It is very simple. If you are returning an item because of a damaged product, the cost of shipping shall be entirely borne by  Fashion Paradise.  In the event, you are returning an item because you do not like it anymore or if you would like to exchange it, then the cost shall be borne entirely by you. It’s an international exchange policy. Please note however that any returns are subject to the product being in an absolute new condition and in the manner it was sent without the folds etc. of the item being displaced. Q, I am from United States but I would like to send a gift to India – do I have to pay for shipping?

Absolutely No. It does not matter which foreign country you residing. The only thing that matters is the destination of delivery. If it is India, it is free – if it’s not in India, you will have to pay for it! Click here to know more.

Q, Who bears the transit times & risk?

Once we handover your parcel to FedEx, we take no responsibility towards the same. We are more than confident that a global leader such as FedEx will surely be able to deliver your parcel. We ship all orders by fastest possible air courier services like FedEx, DTDC & DHL etc. and they deliver within standard delivery time hours across USA, Europe and all Major cities of Middle and Far East. If you are looking for alternate shipping options, then cheaper and slower shipping options you can suggest us On request, we can also make special quotes for shipping if the merchandise order amount is large. Please write on order@fashionparadise.in for more details. If you ordered two or more items, you may receive them in multiple boxes on different days, because of varying item availability and shipping locations. Often, products will be shipped separately from one another for added safety in transit, so you may receive more than one delivery to your address. Please note that all the products will be shipped from India.

Q, Is there any custom duties etc. payable on the import of the item?

We would request you to check with the Government of your Country of residence in relation to the application import duty on your specific selected item. Since, we ship across the world; it is not possible to keep a tab on the ever changing custom duty structures of each and every country. Hence, to keep matters simple and easy, we have ensured that the prices of our garments do not take into account the custom duties if any.

Q, Who has to bear the duty & custom Charges?

A custom duty charge is decided by the Government of the destination country after arrival of the parcel. We hereby announce that the Custom Duty Charge has to be borne by the customer and is to be paid at the time of Delivery to our courier partner. These taxes will be chargeable over and above the product/order price you pay on the e-shop.

Q, How to Calculate shipping charges?

Shipping charges are volumetric in nature and differ from product to product. The shipping charges are calculated on the number of products as well as the weight of all the products in your order. You can view the shipping cost as you added product in cart. Shipping cost is not built in each items price. You get the benefit of reduced shipping cost on each additional item. Fair & transparent shipping rates. Free shipping to any address in India. Please also note that the shipping rates are weight based. The weight of any product can be found on its detail page. To match the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next 500 grams.

Q, Can we Ship gifts to our family & friends back home in India?

For sure, we take great pride in being able to offer FREE Shipping to any address in India to our customers with family and friends back home. To ensure the quickest confirmed delivery on all orders to India, Very Important please be sure to include the COMPLETE postal address in detail with telephone number & the correct Pin Code. (Please don’t give your address in abbreviations)  We cannot be responsible for postal delays resulting from incomplete address listings.

Shipment and tracking details: 

We will send you an email regarding the shipment of your order, as soon as the items are handed over to the Courier. These alert emails will contain the tracking number and courier companies website details along with expected date of delivery. You may also check the same on our order status page. Tracking numbers for orders shipped might take 24 business hours to become active on the courier websites.

Incorrect or incomplete address:

Please note: some courier companies charge a penalty for incorrect shipping addresses, wherein the address and zip code do not match. The customer will, without exception, bear the cost of any such penalties and/or fees, not  Fashion Paradise. Please make sure your shipping address is correct. Please note that if there are any customs or duties applicable for the ordered items, it would be billed separately to the customer by the courier company at the time of delivery. The duties and taxes are not a part of the customer’s payment made to us. In the event of a reshipment of the same order, customers will be responsible to pay re-shipping charges for the reshipment.

Q, What if any Delays?

Time to ship mentioned on our website against each item is indicative and approximate values only and sometimes due to situations beyond our control, delays may occur. No refund, returns, replacement & exchange will be entertained for this reason. If, for any reason, there is going to be a delay in shipping because an item is out of stock or if there is an unusual delay in filling an order, we will notify you by e-mail. However any dates for delivery are approximate only and we are not liable for any delay in delivering your order or any part of it. We may choose to deliver your order in separate parts. In some cases we may offer to refund you for unfulfilled part of the order.

VAT & Custom Duties:

VAT / Custom Taxes and Import Duties are not in our control. Many countries do not charge duty on garments for personal use. Other countries charge a very nominal duty. The international customers are responsible for any customs or duty fees levied by their country. They vary according to the rules of different countries and must be paid directly by the buyer. VAT / Custom Taxes and Import Duties are not included in our ordering process, but may be charged to you by your government. International customers are responsible for any customs or duty fees levied by their country. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict where they will occur, as policies vary greatly from nation to nation & keep on changing They are entirely your responsibility. The courier company may also charge some additional service charges over and above custom duty on case to case basis.

Q, What happens if my order is lost in transit? 

If a shipment is lost in transit or delayed because of natural unavoidable reasons, we wait for 15 days and then reprocess/reship the order.

Q, Are the matching jewelry and accessories shown in the picture included in the price of the product?

No the jewelry and accessories shown in the images are not included in the price. The price mentioned is only for the garments. However we have started with the jewelry and accessories section so you can buy the matching jewelry separately. We can also help you finding the matching items in case you have any difficulties for the same.

Q, What is a petticot? Do you ship it with the saree?

Petticoat is an underskirt that needs to be worn with a saree. However if you want, we can ship a matching petticoat with the saree but for an additional cost.

Q, What all services will you provide when I buy a saree?

Services provided at additional cost when buying a saree for fall beading and finishing.
 For your designer saree at an additional cost. The cost of the petticoat will depend on the fabric. we send a matching petticoat material We suggest you to stitch your blouse & petticoat in your area with your choice of tailor so you have a perfect fitting & size for your satisfaction.
